![]() ![]() ![]() I think Ace Combat 5 especially still has some major issues, so I'm gonna keep playing my disc on my phat PS3 or rip it and play the ISO on a cheap modded PS2 for the time being. If I could figure out how to do that, I'd be happier, but emulation for a lot of that stuff isn't perfect yet. and then Steam, as it occasionally does, randomly deleted all of them. It wasn't perfect, but it was dang close. ![]() I even figured out how to make them exit back to Steam link. I could run each game with its own specific PCSX2 settings directly from Steam. I painstakingly put every single one of them into my steam categories. The biggest problem I'm facing with PC emulation is that it's super finicky. Give me an Xbox One-like experience but for any game on any platform, playable on my TV. I wish I could stick literally everything on a single unit that requires one controller button press to boot up into a menu where I can play anything I want. ![]() I also used Swiss to extract my GameCube saves. I can boot the BIOS, browse memory cards and see a game before running it just like the real thing. I thought I’d already consolidated my GameCube and Dolphin saves from over the years, but I found a really old collection of saves on Dropbox last night where I could track the lineage. I've continued optimising my virtual Wii and GameCube experience and I think I'm all done, at least for now. I have my WaveBird and GameCube controller adapter for Wii U sitting around, ready for the next portion of this process. I'll do more research to decide whether to play GameCube games from my GameCube NAND (if it's even possible yet) or use this existing Wii setup.
